Kia ora Wellington! Bad Diaries Salon is returning to VERB Festival’s LitCrawl for a sixth time in 2023.

Bad Diaries Salon #EX will feature four outstanding writers – Catherine Chidgey, Fiona Kelly McGregor, Emily Writes and Kate Camp – reading from their unpublished diaries on the salon theme, EX. The event will be hosted by Tracy Farr.

EX is for X is for ten, in the tenth year of LitCrawl. EX as in former lover (or former bandmate); EX for X for a kiss, or to mark the spot, or the birdsite that once was. EX for anything, really – the mark you make that can stand for anything, or nothing, or everything.

Bad Diaries Salon is raw, raucous, unedited and candid: the written word, rediscovered and shared.
